KET exam
The international KET exam is one of the Cambridge exams that are recognized by various organizations - both employers and educational institutions - all over the world.
Key English Test is a general English test, the first of the Cambridge ESOL series, which can be compared to the Pre-Intermediate level or the A1 (Elementary) level on the CEFR scale. This exam confirms a good command of the language at a basic level.
Cat consists of 3 parts:
- Reading and Writing/Reading and Writing
- Listening/Listening
- Speaking part/Speaking
Each of the parts is evaluated separately from 100 to 150 points.
The total score is determined by the arithmetic mean of all three parts:
from 100 to 119 points corresponds to level A1
from 120 to 139 of level A2
from 140 to 150 of level B1
